What Stellar is
Stellar Aviation is a trading house. The firm buys aircraft outright on its own line of credit, takes title, and resells them, and it represents owners and buyers on aircraft it does not own. There is no charter arm, no management division, no MRO business pulling attention sideways. Aircraft trading is the entire operation, and the numbers that matter are the ones on the tape: more than two billion dollars in aircraft transacted and more than four hundred closings.
The scope runs wider than business jets. Stellar has traded commercial aircraft in Africa, moved engine and spare parts inventory, purchased factory-new aircraft directly from Bombardier, and closed on airframes from ATR 72 turboprops to an Airbus A330 VIP. Behind the desk is a principal whose trading record includes two Falcon 900EXs purchased directly from ENI, the Italian energy company, and multiple aircraft delivered to the federal government of Nigeria.
The nine tails on the recent transactions page are the most recent proof. Bombardier Globals, the Dassault Falcon line, a Citation light jet. Different brackets, different buyer pools, same result. Listed, marketed, closed.
How the firm works
The book is kept deliberately small. An aircraft comes on with Stellar, gets a straight valuation, gets presented properly, and gets worked until it trades. Nothing sits on the site as shelf decoration. That discipline is why the tape reads SOLD from end to end, and why sellers who want velocity keep finding their way here.
On the buy side the same network runs in reverse. The counterparties behind 400+ closings are the first call when a client needs an aircraft that is not publicly listed. A meaningful share of what we place never appears on a listing platform at all. Aircraft financing and leasing solutions are available through our trading partners, so acquisition and capital can run through one desk.
Credentials and counterparties
Stellar’s principal is a member of the National Business Aviation Association, and the firm transacts alongside the escrow agents, pre-buy facilities, and aviation counsel that serious deals run through. Where a client has existing counsel or tax advisors, we work with that bench rather than around it.
Leadership
Stellar is led by Scott M. Dandeneau, in the aircraft market since 1986 and behind more than 400 corporate jet closings. Airbus selected him to lead the North American launch marketing of the A319 ACJ, and a member of the Dassault founding family trusted him with the private purchase of his personal Falcon. He came to aviation from five years at Chase Manhattan Bank in pension trust and global custody, holds a Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle and an accounting degree from Rutgers, and is a private pilot with instrument and multi-engine ratings, trained at FlightSafety International.
The person who values your aircraft is the person who negotiates it and the person on the closing call. No handoffs, no account layers.
